RAINBOW

DCP_0367.JPG, originally uploaded by Zandria.

Ever since leaving the ideal mid-70s temperatures at the beginning of the week, the return to cold, rainy Amsterdam has transformed me into a sneezing mess, searching for tissues at every turn. My nose is running, my head feels stuffy, and my sense of taste is not what it should be.

However, as you can see from this view (taken from my room on the 8th floor a few days ago), sometimes the rainy conditions do create something beautiful.

  6. I just noticed…the blue of the sky above the rainbow is much darker than the blue within…almost as though the rainbow was struggling to hold back the inclement weather…moral, rainbows are our friends!! :)
