101 Things

I didn’t do as many things from my 101 Things list in May as I’d planned. The last time this happened I ended up making up for it the following month, so it’s my goal to do that in June (when I first started the list, I estimated I’d need to complete at least 3-4 things a month to keep on schedule).

62. Visit Arlington National Cemetery (5/4/07)

61. Visited 2 more Smithsonian museums [3/5 completed] (5/20/07)

Also, my friend K.T. noticed #27 on the list (Watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy) and bought me the DVD set as an early birthday present so I could watch it at my convenience. Thanks, K.T.!

That’s a great list! (and great idea that I might have to steal from you – imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right?)

Some of the things on your list do seem much easier than others. I’d probably do the easiest ones first, if I start a similar list 😉

It’ll still take a good commitment to some chunks of time to get through them. Did KT get you the “extended edition” disks? Those are what I have, total of some twelve hours of movie viewing (and then there’s the “behind the scenes” stuff, which is also well worth watching).

I watched the whole trilogy again a year ago… I visited friends in Salt Lake City for three days of skiing and hiking, and we watched one movie each night — got through it in a three-evening marathon.

    Great stuff!
