About Me

1) John asked:
Will you have dinner with me[?]

I have no idea who you are, so…no.

2) HB asked:
Have you ever dated a guy shorter than yourself? Do you believe short guys try harder?

I’ve never dated a guy shorter than myself, and I’m not really sure if they try harder. I’m sure some of them do, but there must also be some that don’t. And the same goes for tall guys — some try hard, others don’t. A lucky lady will be able to find a man who aims to please no matter what his height.

3) Lobster asked:
For you, what would be the qualities of the perfect guy? And, aside from the ever important personality qualities, how much do looks matter in the equation?

There’s no such thing as a perfect guy, but I do prefer someone who is caring, protective, funny, mentally/physically strong, trustworthy, and inspires me to be a better person.

I won’t lie: looks certainly matter. I’ve never dated a guy that I wasn’t physically attracted to. But it’s even better when a physical attraction turns into something more, and you realize the person inside is just as attractive as the exterior.

4) Nadine asked:
Are you religious?

I grew up in a religious household but no, I don’t consider myself to be particularly religious. The only time I’ve caught myself praying in quite a number of years is when something stressful is about to happen, like a job interview or group presentation. Then I end up feeling guilty about trying to pray since I’m only doing it because I want help with something.

How do you imagine your life to be in ten years?
My life at 27 is so immensely different from when I was 17, it’s hard to say what it will be like when I’m 37. I just hope that I’m happy.

Where would you live?
I might still be living in Alexandria, but I could also be in Alaska. Who knows?

In what kind of house?
Not anything too big, as long as it’s something I own.

Would you be married?
If it ends up working out that way, sure. Otherwise I’d be just as happy sharing my life with someone and staying unmarried, as long as we were in love and had an understanding that we wanted to be together.

I have a feeling that I’ll have one biological child.

Would you work or be a housewife?
I’ll always work in some aspect, even if I’m working from home.

I’m not a huge fan of animals, but that’s mainly because I don’t like to clean up after them. It’s possible I might have a dog down the road, but it would have to have space to run around outside.
