27. Watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy
It took me a few months, but I finally did it.
29. Read at least 4 books on my personal bookshelf
I read Jackpot Nation: Rambling and Gambling Across Our Landscape of Luck. It wasn’t great, but I didn’t have anything else on hand at the time, so I finished it.
70. Do something crafty
I made a homemade card for a friend.
78. Wink at someone I find attractive
(Hello, hottie.)
95. Cook at least 1 dish I’ve never made before, at least once a week, for 4 consecutive weeks [1/4]
I made Jimmo’s Chicken & Okra last week, and it was delicious.

, what did the guy do?? funny this one..
Oh my… the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I give you a medal hands down based on that accomplishment alone.
I *love* the okra recipe. I’m most definitely trying that one. Pretty easy to pull together?
I still want to do this but am still going through the decision-making process about what I want on the list.
Actually, I had the list 99% done, and then got distracted with other things (hard to believe, right?)
Boy I never thought of #78! Maybe on my 2008 Resolutions List, then…
Hey, I wonder what you thought of the Lord of the Rings movies? I would guess–from reading you over the years–that this genre, Fantasy, is not your cup of tea; you seem to enjoy the more literal-minded in your reading–I would think a travel-diary would appeal to you more than this sort of flight of fancy. So, I wonder how the world of Orcs, and Ents…Hobbits and Wizards appealed to you? (The books are beautifully written..almost Shakespearian in their ambition).
Well done on the LOTR. I’m a nerd, and love those movies.. hehe.
wink, wink back
that comment just made my day
Everyone seems to think you winked at THEM. But clearly, your wink was intended for me! Wink right back at ya!
did you serve that chicken dish over rice or what?
I think I am gonna make it.
