I like your description of blogs as being something personal and in the Now. So often, the stupid news announcers refer to blogs as if all of them are News blogs by wannabee news announcers! Somebody may have a good News Blog, but I'm not searching for it.

I love reading these types of entries, and from the sounds of it, for a lot of the same reasons that you do. Thanks for sharing.

Moving overseas has been on my mind more and more these days. I usually claim I plan on moving to NYC when I feel "done" with Seattle, but I do feel like now would be the time to explore another country before settling back down near "home."

What worries me most is that I'd be doing it alone, but I do feel like I'm slightly more prepared than the average girl...having lived overseas as a kid, and having picked up and moved my life to a completely unfamiliar place once already, as an adult.

I'm going to spend some time going through those links, thank you!

Ooh, I'm glad to see that you liked "Eat Pray Love" so much! My book club talked about that one over the weekend and I really liked it, though the author was not entirely endearing to me. It was cool to get everyone's perspective on it.

Dear zandria. I have to say I loved Holy Cow, it's a great book! But I was a fan of Sarah Mac when she was on radio in Brisbane, so I guess I'm biased :)
