I met my boyfriend on Myspace! Yes, there are some creepy guys, but I’m sure that’s the case on match.com and the like (I never tried those, but I’ve heard). The thing I liked about Myspace is that you can see who the guy is friends with, who comments on his page, and lots of other stuff you wouldn’t get on a site specifically for dating.

The only printer I’ve ever seen named at a job was named Demon Spawn. She was kind of a drama queen.

I met my husband on MySpace (so it can happen).
I love the printer names, our IT dept names our servers after deceased clients…extremely creepy…

We used to have Disney named printers – Alice and Ariel usually pooped out right about the same time, if I remember correctly.

I must be the only person left that does not have a myspace or other social networking account. I tried friendster.com at one point in time a few years ago. But it was mainly a bunch of people adding as many “friends” as they could. People who they never met, never message, and never plan to do so. To me it was a, “My dick is bigger than yours because I have more ‘friends’ than you.”

So, after I closed that account, I never bothered with the rest of them, MySpace, Orkut, etc… I had a flickr profile for a while, but deleted that in favor of using my .Mac account to share my pictures with my family.

I simply don’t understand social networking sites.

I vacillate between finding MySpace supremely creepy and really really cool. The unwanted attention can get to be a little bit much, but I have a friend who met her fiance on MySpace, another who met her husband on Craig’s List of all places, (and I met my husband on Yahoo personals). You never know who’s out there…

Girl, let me tell ya, I did some MS hook ups last summer – it is a TRIP! Have fun with it. It’s so funny, some of the men that come around on there are hilarious. Have a good time and maybe you will meet someone really cool.
