I crossed three things off my 101 Things list in July.
7. Send a “just because” care package to a friend
I mailed a package to my friend Deniece (she’s the old friend I went to see in Tampa a few months ago). I included a handwritten note, a gift card, and a present for her two-year-old daughter.
74. See a play
I’m going to see the play 1776 at The Little Theater in Alexandria this Thursday night. It’s described as:
Often humorous, frequently touching, and always entertaining, the public events and personal struggles that lead the Continental Congress to forge a new nation are recreated, making you a witness to history.
79. Kiss someone who I just met for the first time that day
I kissed Paul-the-Trolley-Driver on the cheek when I was in San Francisco for the BlogHer conference. (It counts! I never said it had to be on the lips. And yes, my lips touched his cheek after this photo was taken.) It was the first (and last) time I ever saw him. And this way you get actual photographic evidence rather than just taking my word for it.

Ummm… I see no lips touching the cheek, so does it really count???
#79 – Scandalous!
FatFighter: My lips touched his cheek after this photo was taken!
I love your list and the fact youc onscientiously work towards crossing things off!
Sweets&Sweats
That is great! I need to do a list like this! Too funny
I really like the sending a just because package to a friend. I think I will do that this week. Thanks!
I love going to plays. And “just because” presents are the best!
Neverr seen you look so fine as with your lips puckered up to kiss a stranger. After all, I’m a stranger, and One thing COULD lead to Another… We all dream on.
You TOTALLY made that trolley driver’s day!! Look at his smile lol!
I love your list idea, and the care package is great. I think I will do that this week for my best friend. It’s been so long since I’ve talked to her, really talked to her; maybe I will sit down and write her a letter (with pen and paper, gasp!)
“Kiss someone who I just met for the first time that day”.
That was brave!
He looks happy.
(laughed at FF’s comment) and have to say, again, how I adore you.
