I crossed off one task from my 101 Things list in February.
46. Go on a hike
I went hiking at Great Falls on a beautiful Sunday afternoon early in the month. Not too long after that, a guy I dated for a few weeks last year emailed me and asked if I’d been there — he had seen me, but wasn’t positive if it was me so he didn’t approach. (I had my hair pulled back and I was wearing large, dark sunglasses. Also, I’m sure I was walking pretty fast — the only time I slowed down was the few minutes I spent looking at the falls.)
Then he asked if I wanted to get together again sometime. Darn my 101 Things list, putting me in these types of situations!

I guess that depends how the first few weeks ended and why.
Usually these things happen in response to NOT-To-Do Lists (ie. “4. I will not go to that funny-smelling bookstore I know X hangs out in just in hopes of running into him”

zandria,
I’ve lived in northern virginia for 9 years – and I realized that I don’t know where most of the things on your list are even located!!! Duh!!
So, I’m starting off with my own 101 list (1001 days??) Hey – add me in on your # 20 and # 30 and we can knock off 2 items quickly!!!! I know of a wonderful church outside of the city that is near a military base, lots of military families and it is great to just “be” with them!
