Running is a GREAT way to explore a new city, but also check out the gym of the hotel you're staying at. Nothing makes you feel better when on the road then a nice intense workout in the hotel gym.

That is interesting you posted this, since I leave for vacation next weekend.

I used to really solely on running on vacations. Seeing that I'm not really running right now, I've decided to pack my 8 lb. weights, go for daily walks/hikes, and check out the facility's workout room. Sure, they aren't the best usually, but they're bound to have something!

I love to "explore" new places while I'm on vacation. Usually I do this through running, but I'm thinking walks will help me to better enjoy the view. :-)

I have tried to work out while traveling, but my main problem is that taking my work-out clothes and the extra pair of shoes is the biggest pain, especially with the recent increase in baggage costs. And then, if you work more than once, you need even more clothes. I don't know, it's been frustrating for me...
