Vacation Recap

Last week I spent time in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. I didn’t write a single blog post (I was taking a break from writing for BlogHer, too), but I did update Twitter regularly.

Over the course of the six days I spent in those three states, I did a lot of relaxing, driving, and sightseeing. It was the first time I’d taken an entire week off work since I started at my current job over two years ago. I needed the break.

The view from Aunt Cathy & Uncle Jeff’s backyard in Salmon, Idaho.

This swing was my favorite place to sit in the backyard…

…and it looked out over the Salmon River.

It was a great place for contemplation.

  16. Looking at your pictures is inspiring me to look at a road trip out west next spring. Looks like a perfect place to turn off the blackberry for a while and find yourself. Consider me jealous.
