I had about a similar success rate with my first 1001 days. Everything on my first list that I didn’t complete got put on my second list, with an enhancement to make it more challenging or more urgent.

Great list, by the way, and terrific blog.

My grandpa taught me the importance of setting goals and working towards accomplishing them. He’d make sure to always say, “The beauty of goals is that they are yours and you can change them whenever you want.”

You’re so right, there’s no reason to be disappointed! I’m sure your 101 Things in 1001 Days served its purpose for the time it needed to. What an accomplishment 78 is though! Yes, go you!

AAs many wineries as we have in NoVA, especialy Loundon County, the tour a winery/wine tasting should have been an easy one to complete. Never to late. they’re actually pretty fun.

This is a great post. Sometimes I feel like people write things in their list just because it sounds cool or everyone else is doing it (not to say that you did this!). But you’re right, you have to complete the tasks that you want to complete.

I think you did a pretty good job on your list! I have a list of my own going at my blog here: http://alittlecoffee.com/101-things/ and I think I’ve been doing a decent job at updating it, but I don’t know if I’ll manage every single item.

hahaha, except I am way late on updating this month I’ll get around to the October update eventually.

I’m also re-evaluating my list. I didn’t plan on getting a boyfriend, so that’s put some kinks in it. I’ve also gotten behind with my crazy work schedule, but I’m hoping to recommit this winter and get some more done.

I think 78 things is pretty good, especially considering how much travel you had on the list. I’ve learned that the travel ones are super ambitious for a not-quite-3 year project.
