Travis and I have lived together for 3 years and I'm still getting rid of extra stuff. It has helped when other people have needed it.....we gave Isaac a huge box of silverware, extra dishes and stuff recently that Travis had not wanted to just drop to goodwill. Be patient :)

Glad to hear everything is going smoothly! That's a wonderful sign.

Matt and I did get rid of a lot of duplicates, but we kept some too. For example, we found that my cookware and his were useful for different things, so we possibly have more cookware than we need, but we like having options (especially since we both cook). And, of course, now that we've received wedding presents we have a whole entire round of purging to go through again. You wouldn't believe how many presents we received! A lot of our old stuff is going to Goodwill this weekend or next as we sort through.

I married when I was 20, had my first child at 20, my second at 24...have just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary...I will be 30 in May. I still don't feel like an adult despite owning a house, having 2 kids...I can only hope that it comes once I finish my degree and get a job. It's really been bothering me lately. :/

Congrats and happy anniversary! Things have a funny way of working out, don't they? And those people that are meant to be in our lives always have a way of wiggling back in.
